Baby Brain

So, last Wednesday (May 23rd), I rear-ended a woman driving a Jaguar. Yes, a Jaguar. She was not very pleasant to me. Not only did she not ask if I was ok (I am pregnant, after all), she went on to tell me that she was having spinal injections and "this is not going to help!" Later I asked if she was feeling ok. The answer I was given was, "NO!" So, I calmly waited for the police, who she insisted on calling. When they arrived, they were SOOOO nice to me and offered to follow me home to make sure I got there ok. They didn't even mention the fact that my inspection was 2 months overdue (I should have gotten a ticket) and seemed more concerned that me and the baby were ok. I tell you, being pregnant was definitely good in that situation. So, because I drive a PT Cruiser my car was undrivable and is still in the shop. The Jaguar looked fine to me. I think I saw a quarter-size dent and some minor scratches. The bottom line is, I have no idea how I actually missed the fact that traffic was stopped! And now I believe everyone who says you get stupid when you're pregnant.

Today--30 weeks and 4 days pregnant

Matt and I attended the "prepared childbirth" class this weekend. It was very informative...we watched videos of women giving birth and that scared me a little. I am still planning to not have an epidural, so watching those women in immense pain made me cringe. They also had us practice different birthing positions. I guess by the time you get to labor you are no longer modest or shy in trying out these weird poses. Any ladies who have gone through this, please tell me if you squatted on a ball or pushed while on all fours. I really want to know if this stuff works!

More and more pregnant by the day...

This shirt says, "I can grow people."

The art car parade

Houston has an art car parade each year. People drive their wildly decorated cars in a parade.

This car was decorated entirely with Peeps marshmallow candies. Yum!

In case you can't read this, it says, "M Peach Bush". Ha!

I swear I'm not too pregnant to sit on this branch...

Breakfast out

I got a lot of comments on this t-shirt (in case you can't read it, it says, "does this baby make me look fat?")

Internet Issues

Well, with all the storms in Houston lately our internet has been out of commission. We just had some new equipment shipped to us yesterday, so hopefully I will be able to put more pictures up this weekend (I have a lot to post)... So check back on Monday to see if there is anything new.
