New Hair

I got a new haircut today. Much shorter and more stylish than normal.

Back view.

Busy day

Gianna went for her first 5K run/walk today. She actually was pushed...I walked and Matt ran.

Then we tried to get her first haircut. This did not go so well...she wanted to hang on to all of her luscious locks. Matt's Aunt Karla is the one doing the cutting.

Finally, Gianna made a new friend. This is Reese who is almost 4 months old. They didn't really get a chance to talk. Hopefully they will see each other again soon!

When mommy's away...

I finally discovered what Matt teaches Gianna when I'm not around.

Hairdo (or hair don't)

This is what Gianna looks like if we don't comb her hair after washing. It is kind of hard to see because of the dark background, so look closely!

Isn't she cute (the hair is a little crazy, though)

Gianna had fun playing with Daddy earlier in the day.

Gianna has been doing this thing lately where she bites her lower lip. This example is not quite as dramatic as normal, but you get the idea.

Talking

Gianna spent time talking to the couch today.

All Dressed Up

Oops...we cut daddy's head off!

Excited to be dressed up...especially the red shoes!

Mommy and Gianna. She looked cute until she threw up all over the dress (Gianna, that is).

Six-month old baby

Gianna can sit up by herself.

She has graduated to the "big" bathtub.

Yesterday Gianna went to her 6-month MD visit. She weighs 13 lbs 13 ounces (10th percentile) and is 26 inches tall (70th percentile). Her head circumference has increased as well (16 and 1/2 inches; 25th percentile). I thought maybe it was because her puffy hair was falsely elevating her head size. The doctor thought that was pretty funny.

In this photo her head looks oddly destorted. I swear she doesn't really look like a bobble-head doll in person.

Happy baby

Winter Wonderland

Gianna and Aunt Beth.

Snow is really pretty when you don't have to live with it all winter.

Back at home in Houston in the sink.

Wisconsin Visit

Mommy and Gianna in Wisconsin.

Cousin Evan and Gianna in the snow. Gianna thought it was pretty fun.

Cousin Gabrielle.

Evan being "snowball face". I managed to catch an eyeball.

Gabrielle and her snowman. She said he was complete once he had the top hat of snow.
