Gianna today.

Look at all the hair! It is actually starting to look a little crazy to have so much hair on a baby this small.

First Christmas Celebration (Dec 21)

Greant Grandpa, Great-Grandma and Hanna.
Great-Aunt Karla, Tricia, Great-Aunt Lynda, Gianna and a great Christmas present. Gianna was very excited to get a horse to play with. Curly is still a little big. That is Kellee in the background.

Xmas Photo

We took Gianna to see Santa Claus yesterday and decided to take a family photo afterwards. Apparently she wasn't in a smiling mood.

Hug me

Gianna and daddy playing--she looks like Gianna in headlights. Check out the chubby legs--quite a difference from her early weeks!

The last few days

Gianna on Thursday after the Packer game. She insisted on wearing her outfit to bed.
Gianna today--we bought her her first headband. I was never into the headband look prior to now, but I think it is so cute. For some reason, in these photos I think Gianna looks like a housewife from the 1950's.

Here she is taking a break after slaving away all day in front of a hot stove.

More of the cousins

On the last day they were in Houston, Gabrielle and Evan posed for pictures with Lil' G. They definitely loved meeting their newest cousin. Luckily, we get to see them again in a month.
Gabrielle and Gianna were both watching TV while posing. I don't remember what show was on, but it was fascinating.
Evan and Gianna (showing off the double chin).
Last weekend was very exciting for Gabrielle and Gianna. We all go to meet Elmo in person (or should I say in monster)!! Gianna was fascinated by his fur while I looked like I had been drugged prior to the meeting.
This was at the health sciences museum. Gianna was learnign how to be clean while sitting in a sink.
Gabrielle, like most girls, loves horses. She got to meet and brush Splash while in Houston.

Thanksgiving

Evan and Gabrielle.

Matt and the bird.

Gianna and I after her bath (note the crazy hair).

Thanksgiving feast.

For Thanksgiving, Matt cooked us a feast! He made turkey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, beans, crescent rolls, and giblet gravy. And we were eating by 11:00 am! Right in time to watch the Packers kick some bootie. Then Matt, Gianna and I went to Grandma & Grandpa's house for the 2nd Thanksgiving with the Italian family. I forgot to take pictures of that, though. It was fun with lots of yummy food to go around.

Trip to the Zoo

Caron, Evan, Gabrielle and Tony are in town visiting for Thanksgiving. Yesterday, Caron, Gianna, Gabrielle, Evan and I went to the zoo. There are no photos of animals in these pictures, but we at least got a few of us. We saw the aquarium (Gabrielle really likes the sharks--she has a pink "shark" in the photo above), the monkeys and the meerkats. Then it rained while we were in the children's zoo, so we had to cut the trip a little short.

Gianna is teething, so she is constantly chewing on her fingers.

More of G

Now that Gianna can turn over by herself, she loves tummy time.

Even though she's skinny (I mean slender), she has a double chin.

I don't know why daddy thinks he has to hold me in place!

Cereal

We fed Gianna cereal for the first time last night. I am not sure how much actually made it into her tummy, but it was a good first try. I was hoping it would help her sleep through the night, but she still woke up at midnight wanting to eat. Better than 2am, I guess.
