It is definitely a girl!!

Here I am ready for my ultrasound on Feb 24th. We were able to see the heart, brain, and other organs. It was pretty interesting. And we did get confirmation that we are having a girl. So now I can enjoy shopping for all of the girly things.

My 15 Minutes of Fame (within Houston's County Health Facilities)

I was going through my computer at work, and ran into this photo of me (don't I seem professional!?!?). This photo was used to advertise a Medicare program throughout Harris County Hospital District. Imagine my surprise when I went to the outpatient pharmacy one day and my face was posted in every drug counseling window (12 in all). I was also seen in every clinic throughout the District (another 12 of these). Alas, with the Medicare changes I was ripped down...

Here is my belly today, February 4th. I am definitely starting to feel pregnant.

Matthew's Belly

The bottom photo is Matt's belly on January 7th and the top photo is Matt's belly today (February 4th). He says that while my belly is getting bigger, his is going to get smaller. The fried chicken and donut diet seems to be helping!

It's a Girl!! (We think....)

We are 99% sure that we are having a girl!!! We should know absolutely on February 24th when I have my next ultrasound. We went to the doctor two days ago, and the baby would not cooperate by opening her legs. However, the doctor was pretty sure it was a girl. We think she might end up being a gymnast (literally, her legs were up over her head--very flexible). I thought maybe she was squished in there, but the doctor said babies just like being curled into small spaces.
