Thanksgiving feast.


For Thanksgiving, Matt cooked us a feast! He made turkey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, beans, crescent rolls, and giblet gravy. And we were eating by 11:00 am! Right in time to watch the Packers kick some bootie. Then Matt, Gianna and I went to Grandma & Grandpa's house for the 2nd Thanksgiving with the Italian family. I forgot to take pictures of that, though. It was fun with lots of yummy food to go around.

Trip to the Zoo

Caron, Evan, Gabrielle and Tony are in town visiting for Thanksgiving. Yesterday, Caron, Gianna, Gabrielle, Evan and I went to the zoo. There are no photos of animals in these pictures, but we at least got a few of us. We saw the aquarium (Gabrielle really likes the sharks--she has a pink "shark" in the photo above), the monkeys and the meerkats. Then it rained while we were in the children's zoo, so we had to cut the trip a little short.

Now that Gianna can turn over by herself, she loves tummy time.

Even though she's skinny (I mean slender), she has a double chin.

Cereal

We fed Gianna cereal for the first time last night. I am not sure how much actually made it into her tummy, but it was a good first try. I was hoping it would help her sleep through the night, but she still woke up at midnight wanting to eat. Better than 2am, I guess.

Last night we caught Gianna sleeping with her tush in the air. She was on her knees dead asleep and snoring. I am sure this is not unusual behavior, but of course, I thought it was the cutest most amazing thing ever and had to take a picture!

Gianna had her 4-month doctor visit today. They were very impressed with her muscle tone (she must get that from Daddy). She now weighs 11lbs and 3ounces and is 24 and 1/4 inches tall. This puts her in the 6th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height. Our little girl is getting so big!
