First Horseback Ride

Gianna rode a horse for the first time today. It was standing still. She was moving a lot, though. Of course, she had to wear her pink cowboy boots.

Crazy "G"

Gianna decided she wanted to sleep facedown on Aunt Kate's lap. Her legs are bunched up inside her dress which is why she looks like a mini version of E.T. I think she is taking after Matt...I catch him sleeping sometimes with his face smashed directly onto the mattress. I always wonder how he is able to breathe. Don't worry, we didn't let her stay like this for long. She did seem to enjoy it, though.

I just figured out that I can record video on my camera. Yes, I still have not read the manual. Who knows what else I can do... Anyway, I recorded this of Gianna this morning. Not the most exciting, but it was my first attempt. Hopefully, everyone will be able to view this. Enjoy!

Whenever we put Gianna on her back, especially if she's been sleeping, she does this crazy stretching. Here she is stretching prior to her bath.

Asleep all day...

Gianna slept literally from 9:00 am until 11:00 pm today. She woke up to eat, but otherwise, she was out. I bet I won't be getting much sleep tonight!

I never get to sleep

I would love to hear any words of advice for the ladies who have been in my shoes. Gianna sleeps very well throughout the day in her bassinet. For some reason when we put her in it at night, she immediately wakes up. Also, she seems to want to be awake every day from 2am to 6am. I am trying to keep her awake more during the day, but it is easier said than done. Any tips? Oh--this is what I look like while I am blogging at 2:30 am. Scary...

Seafood Excursion

Today we went to Grandpa's favorite seafood restaurant in Houston.
